Blonde Holly is the moniker of southwestern based multi-instrumentalist, Dan Bagley. The past few years has seen Blonde Holly cultivating a dream-pop sound, brought upon by his adulation of Paul Simon and Linda Ronstadt. Paired with these influences are his allure to the colors and textures of synth based shimmer that are beautifully on display in the sober hypnosis of “Moon Psycho” and “Making Moves” a track that’s reminiscent to the atmosphere of a David Lynch scene. The subtleties in these songs are what allow them to be sincere- like a sonic blanket that leaves you warm and reminiscing on windows down, wearing cheeky grins.
